emeralds in very short supply... I'd fight hamlets to gain them... that's first... second helpful consideration is figure out how to TRADE for them... I'd do that as well... as it is, they all go to hunts, of which I can only manage a two day hunt every 2-3 weeks...

separate note: it is frustrating to play WELL and lose to folks who play with WALLETS... two tier game is a thought, where free only competes with free...

Thank you for sharing your ideas and observations with us! As emeralds are considered to be premium and rare resources, introducing hamlets for them would significantly affect the game balance. Please, note that you can always get emeralds after upgrading Champions and also find them in various rewards. 😉
