#1 could possibly be abused with inappropriate words and such.
Also, it'll likely cause inconsistency between the players' troops, and probably confuse newer players to no end.

#2 has been discussed, I believe.
I also believe Plarium is still working on this.

#3 is a decent idea, but then they'd also have to keep track of each units' experience, which could disrupt the 'streamlinedness' of the current troop UI.
Not to mention it would be a mess to read which troops survived and their increases in experience.

In general, great ideas, but I don't see much opportunity for #1 and #3 to be implemented smoothly.

After you have named your base for the first time Mr. Black asks if you had tried to name the base something illicit and says that it couldn't be done. What is the difference with the squads? Or even if you don't get to name the squads, you should be able to set a category for them. Recon, Occupation, Raid, ect. The part about the surviving units being enhanced is exciting but can be ruled out. Units fight all the time and don't get better via battle so it shouldn't be fair than squads get better.
